Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony
Presented by the Paseo del Rio Association and the City of San Antonio. Las Posadas
The re-enactment of Joseph and Mary's search for shelter. The candle-lit procession sings the traditional Posada songs as they make their way to the Arneson River Theater in historic La Villita. Procession begins on the River Walk level of La Mansion del Rio Hotel, travels to the Arneson River Theater and ends with a piñata party in Maverick Plaza. San Antonio Conservation Society. Free.
