Canyon Springs Golf Club
18 holes. 7,000 yards. Slope 130. Rating 72.8. Par-72. Over 7,000 yards of beguiling beauty - that's the best way to describe Canyon Springs. Beauty, because this course winds through some of the most scenic Hill Country north of San Antonio. Beguiling, because the course's wide fairways and accessible greens hide bunkers, natural hazards and subtle breaks. Five sets of trees on each hole create a challenge for golfers of every level. Tee it up on the cliff-top 10th hole and let it rip. But be sure you've got another ball in your pocket. Call 1-210-497-1770 for green fees and tee times.
WoodlakeGolf & Country Club
Site of the PGA Tour Texas Open for five years, the 18-hole
course, playing to 6,691 yards, has earned a deserved reputation as one of the
finest in the Southwest. Also part of Woodlake Country Club's history is being
the site where Ben Crenshaw earned his first PGA Tour Victory in 1973. The
harmony of Woodlake's natural setting combines with the vision of its renowned
designer, Desmond Muirhead, to provide an outstanding challenge for the skilled
devotee, yet appeals to the player with more modest abilities.
